"Smart 'Mystery Force' is Here! Shenzhen Water Practice Accelerates Development"

2024-11-19

From November 14 to 16, 2024,

The 26th High-Tech Fair was grandly held at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao'an).

Led by Shenzhen Water and Environment Group, Shenzhen Water Tech was invited to participate in the 6th Greater Bay Area Water Forum, and showcased multiple smart water products at the 2024 Greater Bay Area Environmental Water Expo.

What kind of sensation did these "hard-core" technological innovations cause?

Let's explore together.

Intensive Application · In-depth Practice

The water forum of the Greater Bay Area, themed "Innovation Leads the Way, Sharing the Charm of the Bay Area," hosted a series of wonderful lectures, attracting more than 400 government leaders and industry elites to gather together.

Shenzhen Water Tech's General Manager Wang Meifang delivered a speech titled "Innovative Practices of AI Technology in the Field of Smart Water Services" at the Smart Water Services sub-forum, drawing on the "Shenzhen Water Experience" and "case practices." Drawing on her own work experience, she conducted an in-depth analysis of the difficulties and pain points in water plant operations, and focused on introducing the four major innovative applications of AI technology in the water industry—Smart Analysis, Smart Control, Smart Monitoring, and Smart Recognition.

Smart Analysis

Taking the precise monitoring of a piece of equipment in a water plant in Shenzhen for two consecutive times as an example, Wang Meifang elaborated on the key role that AI intelligent analysis plays in the prediction, early warning, tiered diagnosis, and closed-loop processing of equipment in water plants.

Smart Control

How to achieve smart control of water plant operations? With a profound understanding of the pain points of water plant operation users, Wang Meifang has distilled an effective method for evaluating product quality. She elaborated on this by combining practical application cases such as intelligent dosing and intelligent water balance control. She pointed out that through five key dimensions—water quality stability, degree of human intervention, ability to cope with sudden changes, chemical consumption reduction rate, and operation duration ratio— can accurately assess the operational level of a water plant.

Smart Monitoring

In the domain of Smart monitoring, the algae online monitoring platform and the copepod online monitoring instrument, both independently developed by Shenzhen Water Technology Company, utilize AI intelligent monitoring methods to effectively solve the difficulties in monitoring and early warning of plankton and algae in raw water, revealing the truth of the microscopic world of water affairs.

Smart Recognition

The in-depth development of visual intelligence, station-level, and basin AI recognition capability libraries has greatly facilitated intelligent supervision and remote control in the water industry, achieving less-staffed operations in different scenarios.

In addition, Shenzhen Water Tech is committed to using big data models to promote the upgrading of the water industry. Wang Meifang, taking "new quality productivity" as an open topic, called on industry peers to join hands, empower each other, and move towards the future together.

Miniaturized · All-round

Unlike the "bulky" and "tall" traditional equipment displays, the booth of Shenzhen Water and Environment Group stood out among 200 Chinese and foreign companies from 9 countries and regions. It was meticulously designed with four core theme areas: "Water Plant • Green Element," "Pipeline • Blue Artery," "Smart • Digital Twin," and "Ecology • New Code."

As the highlight of "Smart • Digital Twin", the exhibits from Shenzhen Water Technology Company were unique. They showcased the intelligence, precision, and efficiency of water management in a "refined," "smart," and "comprehensive" manner. This not only redefined the boundaries of "Smart Water Services" but also set a new benchmark in the field of "Digital Twin" technology.

Large-scale equipment seemed to have "disappeared," yet it cleverly allowed the audience to not only closely observe the appearance and characteristics of the "miniaturized" intelligent dosing integrated machine, intelligent aeration control system, algae online monitoring platform, copepod online monitoring instrument, and fire hydrant intelligent monitoring products, but also to fully and intuitively understand the actual application effects of these products in specific application scenarios.

"The water equipment is becoming more and more ""fashionable"" now. The product styles look great, and the ideas of embedding them into specific scenarios are really good!" During the exhibition, representatives from water units in the "9+2" cities of the Greater Bay Area, academicians and experts in the industry, and representatives of enterprises in the industrial chain came in an endless stream. They all came forward to consult and communicate, and had in-depth discussions on the specific effects of the products.
